Climber's Finger

"Climber’s finger is a common injury among a niche group of sportsmen – rock climbers. It is an overuse injury caused by a climber trying to support his or her body weight with one or two fingers repeatedly. Surain had been climbing for 5 years and his fingers became quite stiff and sore, making it difficult for him to form a fist. Taking advice from another climber, he came to see us for treatment. Within 10 sessions, we were able to improve his climber’s finger condition by 80% and with further exercise, we believe that he will be able to regain his finger flexibility fully. Thank you for your effusive recommendation Surain!"

“Been doing rock/wall climbing for more than 5 years which involves a lot of crimping (whereby the fingers pull up the body up a wall/rock surface). Due to that, my fingers (the joints) have become stiff and sore, making it difficult to clench (make a fist). Got to know YAP CHAN KOR from a fellow climber. After 10 sessions, I’d say it has improved by 80%. Still have work to do on one more finger. My physiotherapist did a fantastic job, he has excellent knowledge and experience that I can relate to and he has people skills (able to make conversation), and explain my condition. I’d highly recommend YCK to my family and friends.” – Surain
